Section 1: Deal with the focus of the question first; in this case th effectiveness of the FLN's strategy of guerilla warfare. Be careful not just to describe the tactics used; you need to keep linking back to the question i.e. the effectiveness of guerilla warfare in deciding the outcome. Note that although guerilla tactics were not successful in themselves in defeating the French forces or in winning the Battle of Algiers, the fact that they forced the French army into retaliating with similar tactics e.g. torture alienated French public opinion against the war.
